Every rider in your group must meet the requirements below so we can get you on the road quickly and safely.

Requirements for every rider

To rent an electric Segway with Patagonia Moto Rentals, each rider in your group must satisfy all of the following.

Identification or deposit

For each rider, you must provide exactly one of the options below:

Valid passport used to enter Chile
The same passport you showed at Chilean immigration.
OR
Valid Chilean ID card
Cédula de identidad vigente for the rider.
OR
USD $3000 deposit per bike
A $3000 USD hold per bike that is settled after the bike is returned and inspected.

If a rider does not have the required passport or Chilean ID, the USD $3000 deposit per bike is mandatory.

Signed waiver for every rider

Each rider must review and sign our E-Bike Rental Agreement & Liability Waiver before riding.

  • One signed waiver per rider, including minors.
  • Parents or legal guardians must sign for riders under 18.
  • The waiver spells out our safety rules, geographic limits, and equipment responsibilities.

Payment

Full payment for your booking is required before we release the bikes.

  • Your total is based on the number of bikes and hours reserved.
  • Any additional charges for damage, late returns, or violations of the waiver will be settled using the card on file or your security deposit.

Entiendo que conducir bicicletas eléctricas (e-bikes) implica riesgos inherentes y graves, incluidos, entre otros, caídas, colisiones con vehículos, peatones o fauna, fallas de equipo, cambios climáticos bruscos, malas condiciones de caminos o senderos y zonas remotas con servicio celular limitado o inexistente. Estos riesgos pueden provocar daños a la propiedad, lesiones graves, parálisis o la muerte. Acepto libre y voluntariamente todos estos riesgos.
